How It's Made

Our production process.

Every bottle of Shining-Light Marula Oil follows a careful, traditional cold-press process to preserve all the natural nutrients and beneficial compounds.

Harvesting
Ripe Marula fruits are collected from wild trees in the Namibian bush after they have naturally fallen. Only mature, undamaged fruit is selected.
Kernel Extraction
The outer flesh is removed and the hard inner nut is cracked open by hand to reveal the white kernel inside, the source of the oil.
Cold Pressing
Dried kernels are cold-pressed without heat or chemical solvents. This preserves all antioxidants, fatty acids, and Vitamin C in their natural state.
Filtering & Quality Check
The raw oil is carefully filtered to remove any sediment, then quality-checked for colour, clarity, and aroma before bottling or bulk supply.
